On Saturday I photographed my first wedding on a yacht and I hope its not my last because it was so much fun! I did not know what to expect, especially considering the weather forecast for cold weather + high winds... The weather actually turned out to be pretty tolerable thanks to plenty of sunshine and beautiful blue skies. I had never met Kelly and Steve before the big day but by the end of the night I felt like we were old friends.
Since the ceremony and reception were both on the Yacht Kelly and Steve opted to see each other before the wedding which gave us plenty of time for some relaxed portraits...
The yacht was really nice, and quite spacious. If anyone is still looking for a location be sure to check out the Starship Yacht. The ceremony was held on the top deck of the yacht and the reception was on the bottom. Ashley Valentine, the wedding coordinator for the yacht did a fabulous job- everything looked just perfect! (the middle picture here is from www.yachtstarship.com, I was not brave enough to swim into the water to get a shot of the boat!)
This is the flower girl Valerie, she was such a ham. When she first started walking down the aisle she glanced up and noticed everyone looking at her and she said "Whaaaaat?" hah!
